Refund policy
We want every piece to arrive exactly as you imagined it. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
30-day window
You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to contact us about a return, exchange or refund.
To start, email us at hello@bloomwithinjewellery.com with your order number and, where relevant, a clear photo or short video of the issue. Please contact us before sending anything back — items returned without an approved return request cannot be processed.
If your item arrives faulty or incorrect
Please inspect your order on arrival and get in touch straight away.
In most cases you will not need to send the item back. Once we've reviewed your photos, we will send a free replacement or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer. Return postage is never at your expense for a faulty or incorrect item.
What we treat as a fault
- Loose or missing stones on arrival. Hand-set pieces are secured with jeweller's adhesive and a setting cup. If a stone has come away in transit, that's a fault.
- Deep scratches or pitting on pearls that noticeably affect the appearance of the piece.
- Clasps and extender chains that won't open, close or fasten properly.
- Breakages, missing components, or the wrong item arriving in your parcel.
What sits outside a fault
- Natural variation. Our pearls are natural freshwater pearls, and fine growth lines and slight irregularities in shape or lustre are characteristic of the material, not defects. Natural stones vary in tone and pattern from piece to piece. No two are identical — that's part of what makes them yours.
- Water damage. Adhesive-set pieces should not be submerged or left damp. If a stone loosens after the piece has been worn in water and not dried, that's wear rather than a fault.
- General wear over time, accidental damage, or alteration by a third party.
None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see below).
If you've simply changed your mind
We accept change-of-mind returns within the same 30-day window, provided the piece is:
- unworn and unused, in the condition you received it
- in its original packaging, with any tags attached
- accompanied by proof of purchase
Email us first and we'll confirm the return address. Return postage for change-of-mind returns is at your own cost, and we recommend a tracked service — we can't refund a parcel that doesn't reach us.
Items we can't accept back
- Personalised and engraved pieces, including name necklaces, engraved bracelets and custom orders. These are made to your specification and cannot be resold. Please double-check spelling and character count before you order — we'll always confirm engraving details with you before production begins.
- Gift cards.
Personalised items are of course still covered if they arrive faulty, or if the engraving does not match what you approved.
Exchanges
The quickest route is to request a refund for the piece you have and place a new order for the one you want, so your replacement isn't held up waiting on a return.
Parcels lost in transit
If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but it hasn't reached you, or if it stops updating for an extended period, contact us and we'll investigate with the carrier. Getting your order to you is our responsibility, not yours — you won't be asked to chase the postal service on our behalf.
Refunds
Once your return is approved, we'll refund your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to post it. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven't seen the funds, please email us at hello@bloomwithinjewellery.com.
Original shipping charges are refunded where an item was faulty, incorrect, or where the whole order is returned within the EU cooling-off period.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
